Two military helicopters crashed into each other in the sky in Lumut. -Navy Confirms 10 Dead

Ten navy members died when two Malaysian Armed Forces helicopters collided in the air at Lumut Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) base this morning.
Witnesses to the incident involving two helicopters crashing in the airspace and falling at Lumut Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) base, Perak, felt sorrowful and sad while recording at the accident site.
In a viral video, a witness revealed that some of the accident victims died tragically because body parts and pieces of flesh were scattered around the accident area.
The recording captured the witness’s voice describing the situation at the scene with a very sad tone.
The air accident that claimed 10 victims involved assets belonging to the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) during the Joint Service Cross-Honor Exercise celebrating TLDM’s 90th Anniversary.
The Royal Malaysian Armed Forces announced that the HOM aircraft (M503-3) carried four crew with three passengers, while the Fennec (M502-6) carried three crew.
The HOM helicopter (M503-3) crashed on the TLDM Lumut Stadium stairs while the Fennec aircraft crashed in the TLDM Lumut Sports Complex swimming pool,” the statement said. This was confirmed by TLDM in a previous statement.
“TLDM confirms that a Royal Malaysian Navy Maritime Operations Helicopter (HOM-AW139) and a Fennec helicopter crashed during the TLDM 90th Naval Day Parade at the TLDM Lumut Base at 9:32 am today,” it said.
“This incident involved a total of 10 members consisting of 7 TLDM HOM crew and 3 TLDM Fennec crew. All victims were confirmed dead at the scene and were sent to the TLDM Lumut base hospital for identification process.
“TLDM will establish an investigation board to determine the cause of the incident.
“TLDM urges the public not to share video footage of the incident to respect the families’ sensitivity and the investigation process,” it said.
It is understood that both helicopters were undergoing formation training in conjunction with Naval Day, scheduled to take place from May 3 to 5.
In the same video, helicopter debris can be seen falling near the location where hundreds of other navy personnel were conducting parade training.
