Husky Stuck in Drain Refuses to Leave—Loves Attention from Fireman Instead!

A mischievous husky in Kota Kinabalu turned what was supposed to be a simple rescue operation into a full-blown cuddle session with a firefighter, refusing to leave a large drain even when help arrived.
The incident, which was caught on video and shared by Bomba Kota Kinabalu, amused netizens as the husky seemed more interested in attention than actually being rescued.
The brown and white dog could be seen pacing calmly inside the drain, completely unbothered by its situation. When a fireman approached to help, instead of cooperating, the husky leaned into his pats and strokes, enjoying the comfort rather than trying to get out.
As the firefighter lowered a ladder, hoping the dog would climb out, the husky dramatically ignored it, resting its head against the drain wall and sulking like a stubborn child.
Despite the coaxing, the husky refused to move, forcing the firefighter to carry the big dog out himself. Once on solid ground, the husky casually walked away, as if nothing had happened!
Netizens were entertained by the dog’s cheeky attitude, with many joking that the husky was just too lazy to climb and had played the fireman into giving him extra hugs. Others praised the firefighter’s patience and wondered if firemen were secretly trained to be animal whisperers since animals always seem to listen to them.
