Malaysia to Host the 2027 SEA Games: Kuala Lumpur, Sarawak, Sabah, and Penang Set to Shine!

It’s official—Malaysia has been selected to host the 2027 Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games)!

In a recent announcement, Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh confirmed that the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) has accepted the Southeast Asian Games Federation’s (SEAGF) offer to bring the regional sporting event to Malaysia. “SEA Games 2027 is ON! Kuala Lumpur, Sarawak, Sabah and Penang,” she declared.

The announcement also highlighted that Sarawak, Sabah, and Penang have each committed to contributing their facilities and resources to co-host the games alongside Kuala Lumpur.
