Claims of Alcohol & Call Girls Inside Malaysian Army Camp Trigger MINDEF Investigation
Allegations involving alcohol, call girls and unregulated entertainment inside a Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) camp have sparked public outrage online, forcing the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) to respond and order an internal investigation.
The claims first surfaced on social media, where users alleged that alcohol and women were being brought into a military camp to “entertain” personnel, including married officers. According to the posts, the activities allegedly took place within the camp itself, raising serious questions about discipline, oversight and enforcement.
Claims of Alcohol, Karaoke & “Minibar” Inside Camp

In several viral posts, users claimed that a makeshift “minibar” was operating inside the camp, with officers allegedly seen dancing with women while others participated in karaoke sessions. The allegations quickly gained traction after Malaysian rapper Caprice shared screenshots of messages from a man who claimed to be a former army officer.

According to the individual, such activities were “not new” and had been happening for years. He claimed that young military personnel were among the most affected, allegedly pressured into spending up to RM400 per day on alcohol alone, with some reportedly resorting to personal loans to cover the costs.
Wife Claims Marriage Fell Apart After Camp Incident
Adding to the controversy, a woman who claimed to be the wife of a military personnel alleged that she is currently going through a divorce after discovering her husband had been “having fun” with call girls inside the camp.
These personal accounts intensified public reaction, with many questioning how such activities could occur within a highly regulated military environment without intervention.
Whistleblower Allegedly Transferred Within 24 Hours
Caprice also revealed that he was told the individual who attempted to stop the alleged immoral activities was transferred to another posting within 24 hours, fuelling further speculation about internal pressure and retaliation.
While these claims have not been independently verified, they have triggered widespread debate about accountability and transparency within security institutions.
MINDEF Responds, Orders Immediate Investigation
In an official statement issued on 5 January, MINDEF said it takes the allegations seriously and has instructed the Malaysian Armed Forces to conduct an immediate internal investigation to verify the claims.
“MINDEF stresses that these allegations do not reflect the true culture, values and practices of the Malaysian Armed Forces, which are founded on discipline, professionalism and strict adherence to security procedures,” the ministry said.
It added that firm action will be taken without compromise if any wrongdoing is proven, in accordance with existing laws, regulations and military procedures.
At the same time, MINDEF urged the public not to engage in speculation or draw premature conclusions that could mislead the public and damage the reputation of the armed forces while investigations are ongoing.
