Johor Bahru witnessed a shocking act of rage when a man set his wife’s car on fire in the middle of a busy road, leaving bystanders stunned.
Dashcam footage of the incident has gone viral, capturing the dramatic moment when a white Toyota Vellfire suddenly stopped in front of a white Toyota Vios. Moments later, a man emerges, douses the Vios with petrol, and ignites it on the spot!
Four occupants barely managed to escape before the car erupted in flames.
What Led to This? A Heated Domestic Dispute!
According to Johor Bahru South police chief ACP Raub Selamat, the suspect is believed to be the victim’s 25-year-old husband, who allegedly set the car on fire following a domestic argument.
“The 21-year-old victim lodged a police report at 1:33 AM at the Majidee police station,” ACP Raub confirmed.
The suspect fled the scene in his Toyota Vellfire, leaving behind a blazing vehicle. The total damage is estimated to be around RM90,000, but no injuries were reported.
